General information
Dust liquid separators are used to clean gas from dry and liquid contaminants or oil mist particles. They are designed as welded steel constructions in vertical or horizontal design.
Function
The gas flows through the inlet nozzle into the filter housing. Coarse particles are filtered out by gravity or centrifugal force installations in the first stage and collected in the first collection chamber. In the standard version, very fine particles are filtered in the second stage with filter elements. The choice of filter element depends on the application and determines whether a second liquid collection chamber is required. Depending on the application and requirements, the various mechanical separation processes can be combined, as shown below in the brochure. The cleaned gas flows out through the outlet nozzle. The filter element contamination should be monitored with a differential pressure measurement.

In this highly sensitive industry, dust liquid separators play a central role in keeping process gases clean.
