Velocity calculation for filters and separators

The online tool velocity calculation for filters and separators calculates the velocity in the empty container. Various gaseous media such as natural gas, methane, hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide in accordance with DVGW G260 can be selected. You can calculate the velocity in the nozzle and in the empty container as well as the operating volume flow for known variables such as the standard volume flow, minimum inlet pressure and inlet temperature. The results are taken into account with the compressibility number (K) and the general gas equation.
