Medium

Our filtration technology is consistently designed for the separation of impurities in gaseous media. The focus here is on the reliable purification of air and gas flows in a wide range of industrial processes - from general production air and technical gases to highly specific process gases in sensitive plant areas.

Depending on the application and requirements, individually tailored filter systems are used to remove particles, dust, aerosols, oil mist, pollen, microorganisms and other gas-borne pollutants from the medium with high efficiency. Our solutions cover a wide range of separation efficiencies - from pre-filtration of coarse particles to high-performance fine filtration in the submicron range.

Whether in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, in food processing, in clean room applications, in ventilation and air conditioning systems or in gas treatment and supply: Our filter solutions make a decisive contribution to protecting systems, ensuring product quality and complying with legal emission limits.

Thanks to their modular design, our systems can be optimally integrated into existing systems. The selection of suitable filter media always depends on the medium, temperature, pressure conditions and chemical resistance. Robust materials such as stainless steel or highly resistant plastics guarantee a long service life and operational reliability - even under extreme conditions.

With our many years of experience in gas filtration, we not only offer you high-quality components, but also sound advice and application-specific system solutions - for clean gases, safe processes and sustainable operating efficiency.

Areas of application

Our filtration technology has been specially developed for use in gaseous media and is used in numerous industrial sectors where maximum purity, process reliability and operating efficiency are required. The filter systems used ensure the reliable separation of particles, aerosols, oil mist and other contaminants from air and gas flows - precisely matched to the respective operating conditions.

Typical areas of application:

  • Process air filtration: removal of dust and ultra-fine particles from the supply air in production processes to ensure consistently high product quality.
  • Technical gases: Filtration of nitrogen, oxygen, compressed air, inert gases and other process gases in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Exhaust gas and emission filtration: Separation of harmful or environmentally damaging components from industrial exhaust air flows to comply with statutory emission limits.
  • Protection of sensitive components: Use in measurement, control and analysis technology to protect sensitive sensors and devices from contamination.
  • Ventilation and air-conditioning technology: high-performance filters in ventilation and air-conditioning systems, for example in clean rooms, laboratories or production facilities with controlled atmospheres.
  • Energy and power plant technology: Filtration of combustion air and process gases to optimize system availability and efficiency.
  • Potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX): Use in safety-relevant zones where special requirements for materials and construction must be met.

Our filter systems are individually tailored to the respective application - with different degrees of separation, materials and designs. The filtration of gaseous media is always the focus of our technical design. Liquids are not part of our application focus.

Industries

Our filtration technology specializes in the purification and treatment of gaseous media and is used in a wide range of industrial sectors. Wherever air, process gases or technical gases need to be reliably cleaned of impurities, our filter systems ensure clean processes, stable operating conditions and the protection of downstream components.

Our solutions are designed exclusively for gaseous media. Applications in the field of liquid filtration are not part of our portfolio.

Typical industries in which our gas filtration technology is used:

  • Chemical and petrochemical industry: filtration of process gases, protection of catalysts, separation of harmful gas components to comply with quality and safety standards.
  • Pharmaceutical industry: Pure air and gas systems to prevent cross-contamination and protect sensitive production processes.
  • Food industry: Filtration of compressed air and technical gases in direct or indirect product contact zones in accordance with hygiene standards.

General conditions

Adaptable filtration technology for industrial applications

Modern filtration technology is tailored to the requirements of a wide range of industrial processes and meets both technical specifications and international guidelines. Thanks to project-specific design, the technology can be flexibly adapted to different operating conditions and ensures reliable filtration performance - even under difficult environmental conditions.

Conformity with international standards and approvals
The filtration technology used can be developed and manufactured in accordance with national and international regulations. These include, among others:

  • ASME (with or without U-Stamp) for global markets
  • EN 13445 for the European area of application
  • SVTI for applications in Switzerland
  • AS1210 for Australia
  • PD5500 for special requirements in the United Kingdom

The design in accordance with these standards ensures that the systems fully comply with legal requirements and safety standards.

Individual tests and customer approvals
In addition to the standard norms, the filtration technology is regularly subjected to customer-specific tests as required by leading industrial companies. Customers include, among others:
BASF, OGE, Gascade, Sasol, INGL, ERI, Dolphin, Saudi Aramco, Gasco, MAN, Jenbacher, MAPNA, Siemens, DONG and many more.
Such test procedures confirm the high quality and reliability of the technology used, even under demanding conditions.

Designed for extreme applications
The filtration technology is designed for operation in particularly harsh environments. Typical features include

  • NACE-compliant design for use in media containing acid gas
  • Temperature resistance down to -50 °C for low-temperature processes
  • Pressure resistance up to 300 bar for applications with high system pressure
  • Operating temperatures up to 250 °C for thermally demanding applications

Flexibility through customized design
In addition to standardized variants, the individual configuration of nozzle arrangements is also possible. This means that the filtration technology can be optimally integrated into existing systems without the need for extensive modifications.
Thanks to this versatile adaptability, the filtration technology is ideal for complex industrial processes and ensures an efficient, safe and durable filtration solution - even under challenging operating conditions.

Materials

Diverse materials for high-performance filtration technology

Modern filtration technology is based on a broad selection of high-quality materials that are precisely tailored to the requirements of a wide range of applications. Criteria such as temperature and chemical resistance as well as mechanical strength play a central role in the selection of materials.

Carbon steel
When robust construction and high strength are required, carbon steel is often used. This material is particularly suitable for industrial applications where corrosion requirements are moderate. It is preferably used in closed systems with controlled environmental conditions.

Stainless steel
Stainless steel is the first choice for demanding processes in the chemical, petrochemical or food processing industries. Due to its excellent resistance to aggressive media such as acids, alkalis and high temperatures, stainless steel provides a reliable basis for durable and safe filtration solutions.

Material combinations for special requirements
In applications that require both high mechanical strength and excellent corrosion resistance, a hybrid design is often used. In this case, load-bearing housing components are made of carbon steel, while areas in contact with the media are made of stainless steel. This combination ensures a good balance between cost-effectiveness and chemical resistance.
Through the targeted selection of suitable materials, filtration technology can be optimally adapted to the respective process conditions - be it extreme temperatures, high pressure or aggressive media. This results in reliable, durable systems for a wide range of industrial requirements.
